Customers and authorized users must use KTCHost services lawfully, securely and in a manner that does not harm other users or networks.
01Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to customers, their authorized users and anyone using infrastructure, hosting, networks, accounts or technical services provided or managed by KTCHost, a brand of Kaizen Software Solutions. It forms part of the applicable service agreement where incorporated by reference. Customers are responsible for the use of their accounts and services by persons they authorize.
02Lawful and Authorized Use
Services must be used in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, licensing obligations and third-party rights. Customers must have appropriate authorization for all systems, networks, applications and data they ask KTCHost to access or manage. Activities that are illegal in a relevant jurisdiction are prohibited.
03Unauthorized Access and Cyber Abuse
You must not conduct unauthorized scanning, exploitation, password attacks, credential theft, privilege escalation, malware deployment, botnet activity, distributed denial-of-service attacks, cryptojacking or attempts to interfere with other systems. Authorized security assessments are permitted only within a documented scope and with required approvals.
04Malicious Software and Harmful Content
Hosting, distributing or facilitating malware, ransomware, phishing kits, credential-harvesting pages, deceptive impersonation, exploit delivery or other malicious material is prohibited. KTCHost may act to contain an active threat and preserve relevant evidence as permitted by law.
05Spam, Messaging and Network Abuse
Unsolicited bulk email, deceptive messaging, mail relay abuse, spoofed headers, phishing and communications that violate anti-spam or privacy laws are prohibited. Customers must comply with applicable opt-in, unsubscribe and sender-authentication requirements. Excessive abusive traffic or network activity that disrupts other users is not permitted.
06Prohibited Content and Intellectual Property
Customers must not store or distribute content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual-property rights, unlawfully discloses personal data, facilitates fraud, or otherwise violates applicable legal requirements. KTCHost does not routinely review all customer content and is not responsible for customer-selected content except as required by law or agreement.
07Fair Resource Usage
Customers must remain within the CPU, memory, storage, bandwidth, connection, database and other limits in their purchased plan. Shared resources must not be used in a way that materially degrades other customers’ services. Published limits and any fair-use thresholds must be specified in the relevant plan; this policy does not impose an undisclosed numeric cap.
08Hosting, Storage and Backups
Shared hosting is intended for the websites, applications and email functions described in the purchased plan. Backup storage, file distribution, media archives, bulk email or unrelated data repositories are not included unless expressly authorized. Customers are responsible for maintaining independent backups except where a separate written service expressly assigns backup responsibilities to KTCHost.
09Accounts, Credentials and Access
Customers must protect account credentials, use appropriate access controls, promptly revoke access no longer needed and notify KTCHost of suspected compromise. Accounts must not be shared with unauthorized parties. Customers remain responsible for actions taken through their authorized accounts, subject to applicable law and KTCHost’s own responsibilities.
10Resellers and End Users
Reselling is permitted only where authorized by the applicable service order. Resellers must ensure that their end users comply with this AUP and must provide a contact capable of responding to abuse complaints. KTCHost may coordinate remediation through the reseller while taking proportionate urgent protective action when necessary.
11Third-Party Platforms and Licensing
Customers must follow applicable software licenses, cloud-provider policies, domain registration requirements and other third-party rules. KTCHost does not authorize use of third-party products or systems in violation of their terms or law.
12Investigation and Cooperation
KTCHost may investigate credible abuse or security reports using information reasonably necessary for that purpose and in accordance with applicable privacy law. Customers must cooperate with reasonable investigations and remediation requests. KTCHost will not access customer content beyond what is legally authorized and reasonably necessary.
13Warnings, Suspension and Termination
Where practical, KTCHost will notify the customer of a violation and provide a reasonable opportunity to correct it. For urgent threats, unlawful activity or material harm, KTCHost may temporarily restrict affected services without advance notice when reasonably necessary. Enforcement will be proportionate, documented where feasible and consistent with applicable law and contract terms. Material or repeated violations may result in termination under the service agreement.
14Reporting Abuse
To report suspected misuse, phishing, unauthorized access or other abuse involving KTCHost services, contact us via the website contact page at https://ktchost.com/contact/. Please include relevant hostnames, IP addresses, timestamps, supporting evidence and a safe contact method. Do not send passwords or sensitive secrets in ordinary email.
15Changes to This Policy
KTCHost may update this AUP to address security risks, legal requirements or service changes. Material changes affecting existing contracts will be handled in accordance with the applicable agreement and law. The current version will be available on this page.
